I did a top speed run today [closed road]& the bike was still pulling hard at 260KPH,[I had to shut down I was running out of road & balls] Im sure it had another 10 to 15 Ks left, I have a set of slip on canns K&N filter & a juice box which has bumped up the power by about 15HP. So do these have a speed limiter?? This is an Australian model & im thinking it might be different to the US Jap & Euro models?? :187:
Any thoughts? :027:

I don't think they have a speedlimiter (hope not...).
Do you have another front sprocket? Because mine runs in red way before 260kmh...

You'll notice soon enough when you hit the rev limiter :830:

Question wasn't the rev limiter (every bike has one) but a speedlimiter. I think only bikes that are able to go faster than 300kmh have a speedlimiter. Except the Italian ones because they don't give a sh*t about gentlemen agreements :305:

Now that makes sence. I think 270 would be easy done on my bike, as it was still pulling hard. Either way its bloody fast!! :820:

256 km/hour on the GPS, 39T rear sprocket, 55 rear tire (PR3), Metzler Z8 front tire.

On the German Autobahn (legal), on a long hill down in the Eifel.
I actually always avoid the Autobahn, but it was getting dark & the planned twistie road was closed due to works, the "Umleitung" was on the autobahn.

tbh, above 200 I never watch my dashboard, too busy with the road & limited point of view at higher speeds.
I was surprised with that topspeed on the GPS.

I'd never try it with a PR3 on the front ... that tire scares me above 160  (wobble).
